CLUB EVENTS: Change of Date Coon Hunt - October 26, 2024 We will be doing things different this year for the coon hunt. We are going to use the coon hunt as a fundraiser for the Colorado Houndsmen. Right now they are fighting against a ban on lion and bobcat hunting in Colorado. We will send 75% of proceeds from the coon hunt to them and the winner will get 25%. We will only have one team winner this year. The team with the most coons (in case of tie, first coon wins) in the 6 hours of the coon hunt. It will start at 7 PM Mountain Time and go till 1 am. That gives teams 6 hours of hunting. You will send pictures of the dogs and coons to Domenique at 208-932-5006 as you catch them so she can keep count. You will have 3 dog/3 man teams costing $30 a team. Plus, you can donate any amount to the Colorado guys. Since registration is online this year, you can start hunting in your favorite spot at 7 pm. We will not be meeting anywhere. This opens up any place in Idaho in the Mountain Time Zone to participate. We hope you have patience with us since this is the first time we will be doing it this way and hope it works well so we can do it this way moving forward. Registration is open till 5 pm October 26, 2024 so we have time to gather the information on each team. Please send me a message with your dogs and handlers names so I can create your team.
